Ron Kuznetz

A past president of the Long Island Camp Association, Ron has been a camp director for over 30 years. Ron is a former athlete and marathon runner, and was a participant in NASA's Teacher in Space program. Guest speaker at various American Camping Association national and local conventions, Ron is well known throughout the camp industry as a program innovator and is the creative energy behind Camp Tioga.

Dale Kuznetz

A New York State certified teacher, Dale has been helping children reach their potentials for more than 20 years. As Ron's wife and lifelong partner, Dale is a camp mother to each and every camper at Tioga. Dale provides the amazing nurturing leadership found at Camp Tioga.

Mike Wagenberg

A former management consultant for Marriott Resorts, Mike's lifelong dream of becoming a camp director was realized in 1997 at Camp Tioga. With over 21 years as a counselor, and director, Mike is a kid advocate whose main concern is that every camper has the best possible summer of his/her life at Camp Tioga.

 

Mike Kuznetz

A graduate of the University of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and Environment, Mike specializes in all outdoor and adventure activities at Camp Tioga. With over 15 years of camp experience and a keen sense of humor, Mike has been a director at Camp Tioga since 1997. Mike's love and knowledge of the great outdoors becomes part of every camper's experience at Camp Tioga.

Staff Information

With a camper to staff ratio of better than 3 to 1, Camp Tioga's staff is composed of carefully selected sports instructors, coaches, health care professionals, graduates and students from the leading colleges and universities from 18 different countries and all over the United States. Each staff member undergoes an intensive interview process, and takes part in an extensive orientation process prior to each summer. Our entire staff strives to provide our campers with the best possible summer experience of their lives. There is a strong feeling of family at Camp Tioga, and everyone, staff and campers alike, becomes part of our Camp Tioga family.
