Camper Safety

At Camp Tioga, your child's safety is our first and foremost Priority. With incredible camper to counselor ratios, constant supervision, a highly trained, caring medical staff and an exceptional team of directors, we provide every one of our campers with the safest, most fun and successful summer possible. Camp Tioga has consistently been rated as one of America's safest camps.

Camper-Counselor Ratio

At Camp Tioga we provide a Camper to Counselor Ratio of 3:1. Campers live in bunks of 10-12 children with at least 4 counselors. Our campers are supervised at all times. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our campers live and play under the watchful eyes of our highly trained staff.

Medical Staff

We have 3 licensed RN's on duty at all times and our onsite Camp Doctor is available whenever needed. We also hire additional staff fully trained in First-Aid and CPR. Our infirmary is always fully stocked with all necessary medications and medical supplies, including oxygen and an automatic external defibrillator. The Camp Tioga Medical Staff also personally contacts each and every family that joins us before the summer begins to find out the medical history of every Tioga Camper.
